MUST HAVE HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC OR FIELD SERVICE EXPERIENCE
Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, diesel mechanic, or field service technician
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and mechanical systems
Ability to troubleshoot electrical and control systems
Experience working independently in the field at industrial or construction sites
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and service manuals
Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer locations in Hampton Roads
Reliable attendance and professional work ethic
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle tools and parts regularly
Ability to stand, kneel, climb, and work in confined or elevated areas
Comfortable working outdoors and in active industrial environments

Typically requires a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
Experience with scripting languages Python, Shell, and/or Perl.
Military Operations Analysis, wargaming and/or Modeling & Simulation experience in the defense industry, and/or data analysis & visualization.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued interim secret security clearance is required prior to start.
