License : Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant with a nationally recognized accrediting body preferred.
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent work experience.
Certification: Current CPR certification with the American Heart Association required.
Experience: Prior experience or hospital experience preferred.
Hours: M-F, 8-hour shifts between 7a-6pm
Required Travel: Yes, travel to cover at Tapestry and Asian Human Services locations.

1+ year of relevant experience in a medical office required
Check patients in and out, complete registration, and collect co-payments
Verify insurance information and assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and provide general front office support
Escort patients to exam rooms and document vital signs, medications, allergies, and reason for visit
Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vitals, administering injections, and phlebotomy when required
Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant with a nationally recognized accrediting body preferred but not required
Authorized to work in the United States
Reside in Illinois or Indiana
