Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related technical field OR equivalent combination of education and technical experience
Strong electronics and mechanical troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues to the component level
Strong organizational and time management capabilities
Experience diagnosing and repairing ultra-high vacuum systems and high voltage equipment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Valid driver's license required
3+ years of hands-on technical experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating complex analytical instrumentation such as SEM, TEM, FIB, Ion Beam, or similar systems
Ability to effectively train customers on equipment operation and maintenance

Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
Comfortable climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Travel expectations – Weekly as needed
Ability to climb ladders and work in rooftop environments with exposure to seasonal temperatures.
Proficient in Microsoft O ice and CRM tools.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Clear verbal communication and active listening.
