Armed response to defeat armed adversaries during emergency incidents involving workplace violence, active shooters, and duress situations
Monitors safety and security situations, identifies discrepancies and implements corrective actions to remove threats in protection of the workforce
Initial and continued employment conditional upon passing USAA's Protective Security training standards within 3 attempts (for initial and follow-on training cycles) and obtaining required state armed security license and/or certification for assigned post state within 6 months
Controls access to protected areas in preservation of life safety, identifying and correcting policy violations

Renders lifesaving first aid during medical emergencies

Protective Security Officer II
Performs as a team member in controlling incident scenes, recovering operations, and implementing actions directed by local fire and police authorities
Supports Senior PSOs and Security Management with overall team performance
Enforces established procedures with employees, visitors, and unaffiliated people while under supervision

High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma, or applicable trade/technical school diploma
Performs routine duties and identifies and reports problems in accordance with standard operating procedures
1 or more years of physical security, law enforcement, or military combat arms experience
In the office 4 days per week
Ability to operate computer programs for access control, camera systems, alarm annunciation, radio dispatch and general use of Microsoft Office tools to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
