Six (6) years of work experience in custodial services, building operations and maintenance or closely related field, including a minimum of two (2) years as a lead
Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, or related field; additional experience can substitute for the Bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid Washington State driver's license and access to personal vehicle
City of Seattle Fourth Grade Stationary Steam Boiler License within six (6) months of hire

Hands-on Maintenance Supervisor
Lead, coach, and support a team of maintenance technicians
Plan and oversee preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues quickly and effectively
Prioritize daily maintenance needs in partnership with production
Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards
Support and maintain systems including electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
Oversee boiler operations, safety checks, and routine maintenance
Train team members and help build a strong, reliable maintenance team
Maintain accurate records of repairs and preventative maintenance
Partner with leadership on process improvements and equipment upgrade
Previous experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or food production environment preferred
Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
Strong technical knowledge of: Electrical systems (including 3-phase power), Refrigeration systems, Plumbing and general mechanical systems, Welding/fabrication (a plus)
Ability to troubleshoot and make sound decisions under pressure
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, 24/7 production environment
