High School Diploma, or GED with 1 to 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred; or Technical Certificate with associated relevant experience
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. and push/pull up to 80 lbs.
Read, write, understand and communicate in English
Good Verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of and ability to use computers
Must accurately follow both verbal and written instructions
This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site)
Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time
Work involves use of manufacturing equipment or close proximity to equipment. May be exposed to biohazards and/or chemicals
Must be able to perform start-up operation from power off/cold state; complete equipment and product paperwork, such as traceability and start-up checklist
Perform Level I required preventive maintenance tasks
Participate in changeovers to include line clearance, system transactions, and associated documentation
Perform work order set ups in electronic batch record, data acquisition and inventory management systems
Pull test samples for QC in process inspection, remove completed production from machine and place in finished goods totes
Fill component Hoppers/Bowls as required to maintain production
Perform minor troubleshooting to diagnose machine performance issues; escalate to assigned Technician when required to ensure resolution
Update hourly production boards with production and efficiency numbers; note issues that prevented goal attainment (downtime, waste, quality, etc.)
Submit machine repair tags to identify issues requiring support services
Ensure that products not meet quality specifications is processed under non-conformance procedures/requirements
Maintain 5S standards in assigned work areas
Engage others; promote and participate in Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement
