A minimum of one year of experience with GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is required.
GD&T; (ASME Y14.5-2009)
3 or more years Quality Inspector experience (preferred.)
Thorough knowledge of mechanical inspection tools, calipers, micrometers, comparators, toolmaker's microscope, indicators, surface plate, thread gage and other common inspection tools.
Proficiency and understanding of GD&T; and blueprint reading.
Basic understanding of aerospace quality management systems.
CMM experience
Reading and understanding written instructions and SOPs
AS9100/ISO9001, GD&T;, SPC, FMEA, and other related industry standards a plus.
Programming of Mitutoyo CMM with MCOSMOS software is a plus.
ASQ Certification as a Quality Inspector, Quality Technician, or Quality Process Analyst desired
Requires technical training courses in a related field or the equivalent in prior work experience.
