Bachelor's degree
Must have two (2) years of experience in fundraising including prospect research, database management and leading prospect strategy for a major gifts fundraising team
Demonstrated success in developing a strategic vision and overall direction and leadership of donor and prospect research initiatives
Excellent organizational, analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain solid and effective working relationships with individuals/groups at all levels in the community such as Parkland staff, donors, volunteers, and board members
Demonstrated ability to bring creative and tailored approaches to fundraising research methodology
Demonstrated self-motivation, initiative and ability to set priorities, work proactively and independently on projects and complete work in a timely manner despite competing deadlines and requirements
Working knowledge of personal computers, word processor, spread sheet, and data base management software
Knowledge of Raiser's Edge or comparable donor management system
Ability to handle confidential materials with appropriate discretion
