Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Ability to read, write, and perform simple math.
Certification on Jobs in assigned work area.
Must become certified on all operations within 12 months.
Must be able to see and differentiate colors and be able to pass a color blindness test.
The employee may regularly lift trays of cells/batteries and be able to sit or stand up to 50% of work time depending upon particular operation.
Independent judgment is necessary to make minor mechanical adjustments (after required training), which if not done or done improperly, could result in equipment, material, or product damage.
Manufacturing Experience is highly desired.
The employee may possibly be required to transport cells to warehouse from factory and will be transporting cells and/or other items outside and may possibly be exposed to inclement weather conditions.
The employee may be exposed to various raw materials used in the process.
Mental/visual effort required in performing assemblies of batteries requiring close attention to detail.
Assemble components into cell and/or battery pack.
Ability to learn to operate a wider variety of equipment.
