Having the ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
Inform Supervisor of any differences in case quantity and/or description
Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
Must be able to perform frequent safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
Walking between 6-12 miles per day on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
Operate a double walkie-rider or pallet jack to remove cases of products from storage rack & place on pallet and apply selection labels to appropriate cases
Picking various items by using order sheets or an audio headset
Stacking items on a pallet for wrapping and loading at the bay doors
Performing equipment inspections & completion of appropriate form

Strong reading/math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation
Safely operate material handling equipment: pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift)
6+ months of safe equipment operation
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments
Physically active role with repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods
Voice-directed picking system (VoCollect headset) to accurately select and prepare customer orders
