5+ years of experience estimating landscape construction, sitework, civil construction, or related projects.
Demonstrated experience producing estimates from plans, specifications, and bid documents.
Strong knowledge of construction labor, materials, equipment, production rates, and subcontractor pricing.
Ability to read and interpret landscape plans, civil drawings, engineering documents, utility plans, elevations, and project specifications.
Experience estimating commercial or high-end residential projects.
Strong understanding of hardscape, grading, drainage, planting, irrigation, utilities, retaining walls, and related site improvements.
Experience soliciting, reviewing, and leveling vendor and subcontractor proposals.
Strong mathematical, analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for site visits and pre-bid walkthroughs.
