High School diploma or equivalent education
Willing and able to work a 12-hour rotating schedule which will include nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work as part of a team and deliver value to the team
Willingness and ability to cross-train to learn new jobs and skills
Consistent, predictable attendance
Willing and able to travel and attend training up to one week per quarter, through completion of all levels of the West Fraser Qualified Millwright Program
One week of travel required up to 4 times annually to attend skilled trades school
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged hours, lift 50 lbs, climb stairs, safely utilize ladders and aerial platforms
Specific knowledge of pumps, conveyor systems, compressors, mechanical systems, roller and chains, motors, bearings, drives, and hydraulic is required in the performance of regular or assigned duties
Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment and completing all required training
