High school diploma or GED
Minimum of a GED with supervisory experience in a related field
Food & beverage experience, preferably in a supervisory role
A good knowledge of food, craft beer, and cocktails with a desire for continued education
Ability to work in a fast paced environment (and sometimes a slow paced environment, lets be real!)
Enjoy serving others and help to provide EXEMPLARY customer experience
Ability to lift 80+ pounds as well as bend, squat, lift and twist
Ability to work a full time schedule of 40 or more hours a week, most of which is standing
MUST be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays
Supports the general manager with direction, supervision, performance, training, and evaluation of all positions within the department
Pour, serve and describe craft beer, cocktails and other beverages as needed
Maintaining inventory control and assist in monitoring budget
Assist with Community PR and maintaining high levels of Team Member satisfaction
Assist with drink menu development as needed
Supervise each shift and ensure that the department is run in compliance with all company policies, rules, and regulations
Balancing and resetting the registers for the new week, with assistance from the General Manager
Be knowledgeable with proper health and safety standards and ensure all staff are following as the correct procedures
Communicate to customers: such as call-ins, walk-ins, musicians, food vendors, happy people, sad people, funny people, boring people, managers, co-employees, family members, friends, acquaintances and morbid enemies...all with a kind and smiling face!
