Meets all Welder qualifications and requirements
Successful completion of Welder workmanship class
A clear understanding of Welding safety
Demonstrates proper use of Personal Protective equipment (PPE)
Basic understanding of Welding principals and applications
Demonstrate GTAW skills.
Knowledge and understanding of filler metal selection
Works mostly autonomously with little supervision
Must have a clear driving record in accordance to company driving guidelines
Clear background check and drug/alcohol screening
Lifting: up to 50 pounds
Adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions
Lift and carry: 50 pounds for 100 feet
Bending, stooping, walking and climbing stairs
Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments
Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
Moving about to accomplish tasks
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
Operating machinery and/or power tools
Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment
Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the job visually
Required physical ability if mandated by customer or regulatory requirements
Experience required for level II & level III welder
