High School education, or Trade School or equivalent, and 8 years of related experience, to include specific systems expertise.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be able obtain and maintain NDT Level 2 Certifications in VT/PT.
Must have experience with U.S. Navy Shipboard Piping Systems and components.
Must be able to obtain Base access credentials within 60 days of start date, and maintain credentials throughout employment.
Must be able to travel between 15%-25% when not assigned to local tasking.
Must be able to obtain a DOD Secrect Security Clearence and maintian a clearence level throughout employment.
Must have experience inspecting the installation of several system components and structures.
Must be familiar with the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual, Ships Alteration and installation Manual TS9090-310 and NAVSEA Standard Items.
Must have a minimum of 8 years experience in the NDT Field and previous proof of certifications in each method. MT is perferred but not required.
