Six to twelve months experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude required with the ability to work on new custom and complex equipment builds that we've never done before.
Ability to read schematics and prints to assemble custom pieces of equipment with a high degree of complexity.
Able to operate basic hand and power tools.
Able to mount components such as doors, motors, heaters, blowers, fans, and coils to weldment according to blueprints.
Positions parts in specified relationship to each other and bolts, screws, or otherwise fastens parts together.
Drills and taps mounting holes.
Works at different work stations as production needs require or shifts from one station to another.
Able to work with insulation material to insulate cabinets.
Installs liners, motors, heaters, and other options.
Must be able to perform basic blueprint reading.
Familiarity with basic hand tools such as hand drills, wrenches, sockets screwdrivers.
Must be mechanically inclined and willing work overtime on an as-needed basis to maintain production deadlines.
The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to climb or balance.
The employee is occasionally required to sit.
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
