High School Diploma or GED is required.
Completion of a Millwright apprenticeship program or equivalent industrial training.
NCCER Level 4 curriculum or equivalent program.
Blueprint & schematic reading for complex industrial equipment.
Precision measuring tools (micrometers, dial indicators, laser alignment systems).
Advanced alignment techniques (prealignment, shim fabrication, dial indicator alignment).
Fabrication & repair of machine parts, including welding, grinding, and turning.
Hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems knowledge (pumps, compressors, couplings, bearings, seals).
Vibration analysis and troubleshooting of rotating equipment.
