Five (5) years experience of practical hands-on experience in the operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of, at a minimum, one of the following: Virtual Machine Environment (VME) computers, networks, digital computers, microprocessors, communications systems, navigation systems, and/or sonar systems
An Associate Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Technology, or be a graduate of US Navy electronics "C" school or equivalent civilian electronics technical school. Curriculum must have dealt directly with the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of: VME computers, digital computers, microprocessors or peripheral/interface equipment, networks, communications systems, navigation system and/or sonar system
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required within twelve (12) months of start date
Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport in an expeditious manner
Must be able to pass a Mariner's Physical per COMSCINST 600l.c. and maintain their medical fitness for this position
