High school diploma or GED preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience as a machinist or assembly work

Perform entry level set-ups
Understand the speeds and feeds pertaining to the machine they are operating (where applicable)
Knowledge of all measuring instruments and gages for their operation
Speak effectively before groups of customers
Read and interpret blueprints
Certified in lock out/tag out
Working knowledge in manufacturing and quality processes and principles
The physical demands include regularly using hands, standing, sitting, walking, talking or hearing, and frequently lifting up to 30 pounds
Specific vision abilities required: close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
