A high school diploma or GED is the minimum education level for this position.
Three or more years of prior inspection experience is required.
Basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, is required.
A thorough understanding of print reading and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;) is required.
The ability to provide training and guidance to less-experienced inspectors is required.
This position requires the ability to read, understand, and draft technical instructions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required.
Experience with common Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) is required.
The ability to analyze and interpret defect conditions is essential.
The ability to make decisions based upon incomplete data is important in this position.
The employee should be able to move items up to 50 lbs.
Employee will be required to pass an annual eye examination.

This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Ability to lift 50 lbs
Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately set up and assemble products
Proficient with use of inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators for dimensional inspection of materials
Experience with and ability to perform set-up operations, and handle change-over responsibilities
Experience interacting with mechanical systems and ability to troubleshoot assembly machines or equipment
Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment
Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
Ability to read and write English
Proven record of using inspection data to make mechanical and program changes to achieve part specifications
This position is located on our 2nd shift which works 4pm - 2am Monday through Thursday. Individuals working 2nd shift receive 10% shift premium on top of their hourly rate
