High School Diploma or GED preferred (not required)
Minimum 6 months of experience in assembly, manufacturing, or industrial environments preferred
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics preferred
Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts as needed
Ability to work day or night shift
Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
Lift up to 15 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
Perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and repetitive movement for 8-12 hours per day

2+ years of experience with heavy equipment production line welding.
Ability to properly and safely MiG weld, stick weld, and arc gouging required.
Must be able to safely MIG, TIG, and stick weld, and arc gouging to include passing of test(s).
Must be able to safely weld vertical, flat, and overhead with both MiG and stick.
Must read and understand weld symbols.
Must select proper rods or wires to perform the welding job.
Must be able to safely use cranes and forklifts.
Successful completion of Permit Required Confined Space Entry training is needed.
Must train in and know PPE requirements for welding including hood and filter shades and arm/body protection.
Must test all hot oil piping for leaks and repairs as necessary. Repairs would be welding related repairs.
Inspection includes the safe use of air hose, pressure regulator, and squirt bottle.
Inspect welds for quality and proper weld.
Must maintain welding machines by keeping them clean and changing liners in the welding guns.
