5 years of relevant experience in electronic or mechanical manufacturing environments
Working knowledge of PLC systems, including the ability to open and navigate PLC programs, understand basic logic (ladder or structured text) and use PLC software as a troubleshooting tool to identify faults, monitor I/O and support equipment diagnostics
Strong technical knowledge of automated assembly, mechanical assembly, placement machine programming, machine wiring and testing
Experience with industrial equipment such as motors, drives, conveyors, pneumatic systems, and automated production equipment
Experience working in a manufacturing or technical support role within a medium production environment
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret manuals, work orders, mechanical drawings and electrical schematics to perform diagnostics and repairs
Ability to communicate effectively with operators, technicians, and engineering teams and work effectively as part of a coordinated team
Proficient in MS Office; SAP ERP experience is a plus
