Eight (8) years of professional experience of practical hands-on experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Navy C5I, secure networks, communications systems, navigation systems, and sonar systems
Five (5) years of professional experience in the maintenance and repair of SURTASS C4I systems, SURTASS processing systems, and SURTASS arrays (active and passive)
Associate Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Technology, or be a graduate of US Navy electronics "C" school or equivalent civilian electronics technical school
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required within twelve (12) months from date of hire
For FSTs stationed overseas, they shall possess a valid United States driver's license and be eligible to obtain a 4EJ operators permit (Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) license)
