Experience: Industrial maintenance: 3 years (Required)
High School diploma or equivalent. Technical school training, a completed apprenticeship, or military technical experience is highly preferred.
Electrical Expertise: Hands-on experience with AC/DC circuits, control panels, wiring, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and three-phase power systems (up to 480V).
Mechanical Expertise: Solid understanding of mechanical power transmission, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, and fluid power systems (pneumatics and hydraulics).
Automation/PLC Knowledge: Troubleshooting knowledge of PLC hardware and software (specifically Allen-Bradley) is preferred.
Lean Manufacturing: Familiarity with 5S principles and lean manufacturing practices is highly desirable.
Physical Requirements: Ability to work in dusty, wet, hot, or cold environments for extended periods; requires prolonged sitting and standing, bending, stooping, and climbing; requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard; requires a normal range of hearing and vision (including the ability to distinguish colors); requires the ability to lift 50 pounds.
