The tacker test will consist of the following: Fitting up and welding out a 4" Sch. 40 pipe- Tig all the way in the 6G (45 degree) position
The inspector will check fit and tacks, after root pass, after hot pass, and when the test is complete
3 hour time limit once the coupon is tacked and in the 6G position
