Verify dimensional accuracy of components using a wide range of precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges, height gauges, thread gauges, surface roughness testers, etc.)
Verify supplier documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable requirements.
Perform First Article Inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final product evaluations.
Review inspection records received for compliance
Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents
Support Engineering with dimensional analysis and product disposition.
Interpret and apply engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T; requirements for complex components
Document Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) upon identification of nonconforming products and promptly notify relevant stakeholders.
Maintain metrology equipment and ensure compliance with calibration requirements.
Adhere to company HSE policies and report unsafe conditions or incidents promptly

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 3- years Assembly/Mechanical/Receiving inspection experience
Must be able to read and write in English
Knowledge in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, material specification and requirements
Pass the J2 Color and Acuity eye test
Exposed to loud noise while in the warehouse
Exposed to moving parts while on the shop floor
Exposed to occasional hot and /or cold weather depending on outside climate conditions and warehouse temperature since the shop floor is neither air conditional nor heated
Limited (5% or less) travel
Work in warehouse/shop floor environment setting 75% or the day, 25% of the day is spent at a computer in an office
