Perioperative Care
The ability to work well under pressure, to function dependently and independently. Standard patient care equipment for services provided. Network computer system.
A Surgery Unit with patient population ranging from less than one year of age> ninety-nine plus years of age.
Able to communicate in English verbally and legibly.
Able to stand/work for up to twelve hours a day.
Able to lift and turn patients with assistance up to 250 lbs. using appropriate lifting devices following policy and procedures.
Able to transport patients on stretcher or bed as necessary.
Manual Dexterity required. Upper body strength needed for lifting heavy trays holding limbs for preps and for extended periods as needed.
