Minimum 7 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 5 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
Master's in manufacturing engineering or equivalent combination of engineering degree and years of experience, preferably in optics, crystals, or wafers.
2 years' work experience in optics, fabrication, or relevant area of photonics in an industrial production environment.
Knowledge of fabrication and polishing of the optical components.
Knowledge of crystal fabrication a +. wafer polishing a+, x-ray crystallography a++
SolidWorks design and simulations skills
Hands on experience in optical shop
CNC programming.
Utilizing microscopes, interferometers, and laser measurement setup.
Basic knowledge and experience in project management, ability to work with minimum supervision
OneNote, Microsoft Office, Oracle, or similar software
Six Sigma, C-Lean, and 5S knowledge a must.
Presentation skills and ability to work with all levels of management and diverse departments.
