On a daily basis this position uses PTC Creo Parametric computer-aided design (CAD) software or Siemens NX (CAD), and Zuken E3 software.
Typically requires a high school diploma or a certificate from a recognized organization certifying completion of a training program utilizing technical engineering software applications
Three or more years of work experience
May substitute additional education in lieu of work experience
Proven experience in advanced drafting techniques
Skilled using 3D CAD solid modeling
With a basic working knowledge of manufacturing or operational processes and equipment
Must be familiar with industry practice and standards.
Requires proficiency in use of math including algebra, plane and solid geometry, and trigonometry as might be acquired through high school and/or trade school studies.
Must have good oral and written communication skills to communicate ideas and for presenting results
Along with a good knowledge of computer operations and software relevant to drafting and design tasks
The ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
The ability to work both independently and in a team environment is essential
As is the ability to work extended hours as required
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance is required.
