Minimum of 10 years of machine shop experience in CNC machining, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience operating 5-axis CNC equipment
High school diploma
Proficiency in CNC programming and setup for 5-axis machines
Proficiency in machine shop equipment/technology and best practices such as but not limited to: multi-axis turning or grinding, welding, lathes, mills, 3D printing, or laser cutting
Strong experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam, Fusion 360)
Checks tools and test equipment for proper calibration and repair according to standard operating procedures
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Strong knowledge of machining materials, tooling, and cutting methods
Previous experience in mentoring or supervising junior machinists
Mentorship: Previous experience in mentoring or supervising junior machinists, with a passion for knowledge-sharing and skill development
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
