You will grind threads on parts to specifications using CNC machine tools.
This position requires a person that can follow detailed instructions and perform inspection tasks using a variety of tools.
Understanding GD&T; callouts is also preferred.
You may also perform critical assembly operations of the ground components.
Perform first article inspections and in-process measurements on manufactured parts using drawings and inspection sheets.
Perform some assembly operations using drawings, inspection documents and on-the-job guidance.
Perform setups and run CNC grinders to manufacture parts using setup sheets and on-the-job guidance.
Perform minor preventative maintenance on the machines when needed.
Preferred 5+ years of experience operating and setting up CNC Swiss machines, but similar or relevant experiences and skills will be considered.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience performing measurements using calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, and other inspection instruments.
