Education: High School diploma supplemented by apprentice-level training
One year apprenticeship preferred
Physical: Manual work with strength and dexterity necessary to perform all required tasks, including lifting, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions in outdoor and indoor settings; will perform manual labor in all weather conditions; will lift and move items equal to or greater than 80 pounds; will climb ladders; will use tools and operate equipment
Experience: One year apprentice level experience in trades, or any equivalent combination of education, training, or experience which provides
Working knowledge of methods, practices, and materials involved in carpentry, electrical/HVAC, and plumbing
Welding experience preferred
Knowledge and skill in the use of tools and power equipment
Ability to adapt available tools and equipment to a variety of repairs
Possession of driver's license with safe driving record
