The Design to Order (DTO) team is dedicated to transforming high-tech customer requests into reality.
As a DTO Engineer, you will play a critical role in the success of our new team dedicated to high-tech vertical growth markets.
The ideal candidate for this role will be able to act as an engineering design leader or function as an electrical design engineer.
The candidate will need to be able to work in a role where the requirements and direction can change often while we work to meet specific needs of a customer.
Key Responsibilities:
Design : Create or solution unique mechanical designs for the Chiller to meet the customer request.
Some electrical design would be a plus.
Codes and Compliance : Help with updates to ETL files needed for UL compliance.
Knowledge of ETL and UL 60335-2-40 preferred.
Ability to read and interpret codes required.
Cross-Functional Coordination : Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability of special parts, processes, and designs for unique projects.
Documentation : Update and create unique technical documents to accompany chillers at the time of shipment.
Production Support : Actively participate in initial DTO builds as needed.
Travel: ~10% domestic

$84,740.00 - $118,860.00

Minimum of 3 years of CNC programming experience
Proficiency in Mastercam and SolidWorks
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T;, and customer specifications
Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, machine setup, and cutting strategies
Knowledge of machine functionality with the ability to troubleshoot machining and programming issues
Strong math, geometry, and problem-solving skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Ability to set up machines, maneuver throughout a manufacturing environment, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
