Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check with minimal violations (no provisional restrictions)
Must have reliable transportation to and from work and be able to drive themselves between work sites when required; must also be comfortable driving agency vans when transporting individuals served
At minimum, a high school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent
Must be 21 years of age or older
Ability to attend and successfully complete a required two-week, in-office paid training upon hire, as well as maintain annual recertifications
Comfortable using computers and agency systems to document thorough, accurate, and detailed reports; log data into electronic systems, check and respond to emails, and upload required documentation
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and other web-based systems
Ability to provide professional references during the application process
Physical & Mental Requirements: Ability to assist residents with mobility and personal care
Lift/Force Requirements: Constant: 10 lbs; Frequent: 25 lbs; Occasional: 50 lbs
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions while ensuring resident safety
