Strong knowledge of U.S. export shipping procedures and ocean freight pricing
Experience working with major carriers, including Maersk, CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, MSC, ONE, COSCO, Evergreen, and OOCL
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet quotation turnaround times/KPI
Strong knowledge of Incoterms and ocean freight surcharges
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and freight forwarding systems (GAMA, Climax suite or similar)
Established relationships with ocean carriers and NVOCCs
