Three years' experience building and testing custom, complex high precision electro optical assemblies
Fiber optic splicing processes and equipment, including arc fusion splicers, cleavers, and re-coaters
Use of optical sources, power meters, and optical spectrum analyzers to test optical components
General understanding of how to follow detailed work instructions and record required information in Travelers for traceability
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience or Secondary/associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Work is typically performed in a Cleanroom environment (ISO Class 7) which requires proper safety precautions
Ability to use your hands in a skillful, coordinated way to grasp and manipulate objects and demonstrate small, precise movements
