Operate paint blasting equipment safely and efficiently
Remove old paint, rust or corrosion using abrasive or chemical techniques safely
Document work performed, including materials used and equipment services
Willing to perform other tasks in the shop as needed
Maintains an organized and clean work environment

2-3 years of experience in a quality-related role preferred.
Foundry experience preferred.
Read and understand engineering procedures, drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
Knowledge of quality control standards, inspection techniques, and testing methods.
Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Capable of working varying shifts, as designated, and occasional Saturdays or overtime during the week.
Certification in Quality Assurance or Quality Control (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector) is a plus.
