Call is at Lynchburg General Hospital as needed; weekend call is approximately every 5th weekend, weeknight call is as needed, and PRN adult echo call is included with the weekend.

Assignments end on Saturday.

2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required.

Travel only, local not allowed.

Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

Echo skills required.

Two years of experience in a similar setting required.

Required certifications and licensure cannot expire within 30 days of the potential start date to apply.

Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification is required.

All RTO must be in the packet at time of submission.

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver's license required for submission

RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, ACS

BLS (Basic Life Support)

Vascular-only sonographers may be considered if an echo-vascular sonographer cannot be obtained.

Experience with GE equipment and EKG is a plus.
