HS Diploma or equivalent required
5-7 years of traditional machining experience, or comparable experience with trade school
Ability to learn and work with Conversational Programming and numeric control Programming along with understanding G&M; Codes
Experience setting up and operating computer and mechanically controlled machine tools such as CNC Machines, grinder, drill press, hydraulic press, etc.
You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as gloves, clothing, glasses, goggles, respirator/face mask, ear plugs/muffs and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
Must be able to communicate in English (both written and oral) as it relates to the job
Must be willing and able to work flexible shifts and changing work schedule
Must be able to operate a machine eight (8) to twelve (12) hours per day
The employee must be able to lift, pull, or push up to 50 pounds during set-ups
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to listen to machine and tooling to ensure the machine and tooling are operating properly
The employee must be able to bend while doing set-ups and verifying measurements

Education sufficient meet applicant status with the ARDMS or ARRT (S)
RDMS OR RT(R) (S) OR Must be a current applicant to the ARDMS or ARRT (S) and MUST achieve one of these certifications within 1 year of hire date. Failure to do so will render the individual unable to meet the minimum job requirements for an ultrasound tech and result in termination of employment in that capacity
BLS certification through American Heart Association
Ability to use computer keyboard and grasp elements of digital image acquisition
Proven excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
