Must be able to understand and perform intermediate set up, alignment, and operation of various portable tools and hand tools used in the trade
Must have intermediate knowledge and understanding of shipboard piping systems (repair/ installation practices, procedures, pipe bending, alignments and troubleshooting) and blue print reading
Communicates effectively, work independently or in a group
Ability to do basic math, i.e. add, subtract, divide and multiply
Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
Must be qualified in multiple brazing processes
Must be able to work outside of trade
Must be able to travel
