Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical construction, quality assurance, commissioning, field engineering, or a related industrial role.
Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and electrical installation best practices.
Experience interpreting electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, layout drawings, and construction documentation.
Experience performing field quality inspections and documenting inspection results.
Familiarity with industrial electrical equipment, control systems, switchgear, motor control centers (MCCs), and power distribution systems.
Experience with medium voltage power projects up to 35kV.
Strong understanding of electrical testing procedures including insulation resistance, contact resistance, VLF, hi-pot, partial discharge, etc.
Experience reviewing and managing redline drawings and construction documentation.
Strong understanding of installation testing, inspection records, turnover documentation, and project closeout requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, contractors, engineers, and project teams.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Ability to travel extensively (approximately 50-75%) throughout the United States and occasionally internationally as project requirements dictate.
