Bachelors in Civil, Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field of study. (In lieu of a bachelor's degree, 4 additional years of experience will be considered)
Engineer in Training (EIT) and working towards Professional (PE) license. - preferred
To carry out essential functions of this job, must have a valid Utah's driver's license with no more than four moving violations in the past three years; or, if a non-driver, must be able to travel efficiently by another means to and from varied locations within UTA's service area. Lack of a driver's license does not necessarily preclude employment.
No applicant may have more than one violation of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs within the last ten years.
4-6 years engineering/planning experience including planning, design, and/or construction of large transportation projects.
3-7 years engineering /project management experience including planning, design, and/or construction of large transportation projects.
Project management experience with complicated transportation projects – specifically budgets, schedules, scopes of work, stakeholders, federal grant requirements.
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) required or American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification preferred.
