Machinist III
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical machinist certification or equivalent hands-on machining experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of machinist experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
Experience operating manual machine tools and machining a variety of metal materials
Intermediate blueprint reading and interpretation skills
Intermediate proficiency with precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment
Working knowledge of metal properties and machining practices
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to effectively train and mentor less experienced machinists
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the workday
Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment and material handling devices
Exposure to machine shop environments with varying noise levels
Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, steel-toed footwear, hearing protection, and other equipment as necessary
