2+ years of experience working in Quality Assurance inspection or equivalent education/technical training
Associate's degree/some college education preferred
Experience using Zeiss Calypso, PowerInspect and PCDMIS CMM software highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend engineering blueprints and/or customer product drawings
Demonstrated ability to use a variety of measuring tools including, but not limited to, CMMs, calipers, micrometers, tape measures, thread gages, surface roughness tester, etc.
Demonstrated knowledge of basic metrology concepts
Demonstrated ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, including post-elementary math skills and ability to convert decimals to fractions and vice-versa
Demonstrated ability to read and write using the English language (i.e., proven elementary reading and writing skills), as well as the ability to converse and comprehend using the English language
Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, Outlook
ASQ Quality Technician, ASQ Quality Inspector, ASQ Calibration Technician certification preferred
Demonstrated ability to accurately & precisely measure materials using standard weights and measures
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance knowledge and application preferred
Able to work effectively with minimal supervision in a team environment
Able to frequently lift push/pull objects up to 50 pounds, repeatedly
Able to sit, stand, bend, squat and walk about the facility
Ability to work productively in an environment with a wide range of temperatures
Able to walk/stand a minimum of eight (8) hours per day
20/20 vision or better (the use of prescription glasses/contact lenses acceptable)
Ability to work at elevated heights on scissor lift (or similar) performing product inspections
