A recognized university technical degree or equivalent.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in commissioning, with a strong focus on project/program management and business development.
Any combination of Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP), Certified Commissioning Process Management Professional (CPMP), Building Commissioning Professional (BCxP), or Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA) designations.
Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring team members, providing guidance, and fostering professional growth.
Proven track record in successful project delivery, meeting project goals, timelines, and profitability targets.
Strong business acumen and ability to drive business development, identify opportunities, and win new projects.
Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
In-depth knowledge of commissioning processes, industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Proven expertise in testing mechanical and electrical systems, building management & automation systems, plumbing equipment and systems, lighting controls systems and normal/emergency power systems.
Expertise in the use of calibrated testing equipment used in the commissioning process, such as flow hoods, anemometers, pitot tubes, IR cameras, power quality analyzers, and various meters.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Ability to think strategically, analyze complex problems, and provide innovative solutions.
Proactive mindset, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally when needed to support global projects.
