One to three years related manufacturing experience, preferred
Read job specifications/travelers/log tickets to determine material requirements
Check coil stock at machine to verify correct material requirements
Monitor multiple machines (high speed stamping press) that expand copper or aluminum metal
Detect defects or machine malfunction and report defects and malfunctions to supervisor immediately
Inspect product for visual defects such as broken strands and measure at key points using precision measuring instruments (i.e. precision magnifying loupe) to determine accuracy of machine operation during product cycle
Log in and out of jobs, accurately enter log information in ERP system
Perform minor machine maintenance, such as adding oil to machine reservoir
Remove finished rolls and move to designated area with completed paperwork
Wear common protective or safety equipment such as gloves, safety goggles, etc
Must be able to use production hand tools and precision measuring instruments
Must be able to apply principles of logical thinking and mechanical ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and use judgement and data information to draw valid conclusions
Strong organization skills, strict attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize as necessary
