Standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing, and pulling. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Be able to pass background checks to include drugs, clearance, etc.
Licensure: Pest control licensure may be required, depending on the specific location.
Safety Awareness: Understanding of safety regulations and procedures, particularly when working with chemicals or in hazardous environments.
Technical Skills: Understanding of pest control techniques, insulation types, and related construction knowledge.
Experience: Some prior experience in pest control or insulation work may be preferred.
Position Requirements: Install various types of insulation (e.g., cellulose, fiberglass) in attics, walls, and crawl spaces, ensuring proper sealing and preventing air leaks. Pest Control Measures: Implement pest control strategies, including setting up and maintaining exclusion traps, applying pest-resistant materials (like borate-treated insulation), and removing trapped animals.
Commonwealth of Virginia Registered/Certified Pesticide Technician Certification in MD or DC (Valid Commonwealth of Virginia Registered/Certified Pesticide Technician Certification in MD or DC).
Background checks to include drugs, clearance, etc.
