Competency in Math and/or English Language Arts, assessed as part of the hiring process
Center Tutor is a part-time, in-person learning-center position
Must be able to access, read, comprehend, and use printed and digital instructional materials, student records, lesson plans, learning logs, and other information necessary to provide instruction
Must be able to accurately enter, retrieve, review, and record student progress and instructional information using tablets, computers, and Company systems
Must be able to simultaneously monitor, engage, and provide instruction to multiple students during instructional sessions
Must be able to maintain awareness of the instructional environment and respond appropriately to student needs, behavior, and potential safety concerns
Must be able to navigate the learning-center environment and access instructional materials, equipment, and student work areas
Must be able to handle and organize instructional materials and operate tablets, computers, and other equipment used in the position
Must be able to sustain the attention and engagement necessary to provide instruction and supervise students throughout scheduled instructional sessions
Must be able to communicate effectively with students and coworkers and understand and respond appropriately to communications necessary for instruction
