Read and interprets blueprints, sketches, or specifications to determine prepping /deprepping
Mixes paints and inks with proper thinner solution to obtain correct consistency for application. (touch ups )
Applies paint in accordance with product requirements.
Masks parts and cleans parts
Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications and blueprints by use of appropriate measuring devices.
Uses proper safety equipment including turning on fans and wearing respirators, gloves, safety glasses.
Performs clean up on equipment with solvents at end of run or when using different materials.
Completes all applicable quality forms. QC form #222 Paint Test Log, QC form #253 Paint Prep Sheet, QC form #254 Coating Record Sheet, and QC Form 261 Misc. Oven Log per Quality Work Instruction WI08032.
Follow all NADCAP requirements.
Able to read calipers.
Maintain the 6S at all times ( sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety )
