Ph.D. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline preferred; candidates with a master's or bachelor's degree and extensive NMR experience may also be considered
Minimum of 8–10 years of analytical chemistry experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical, or regulated laboratory environment
Expert‑level proficiency in NMR spectroscopy is required
Demonstrated experience leading scientific teams, mentoring staff, or providing technical leadership
Experience in GMP/GLP laboratory environments strongly preferred
Knowledge of NMR theory, pulse sequences, spectral interpretation, and instrument operation
Strong knowledge of biomolecular NMR principles and their application to proteins and oligonucleotides
Strong working knowledge of compendial requirements (USP/EP/JP) and analytical quality systems
Working knowledge of chromatography, mass spectrometry, and other characterization techniques to support orthogonal testing
Understanding of laboratory quality systems, data integrity principles, and regulatory expectations
Experience with NMR data processing software (e.g., TopSpin, MNova, VnmrJ, Mdrive)
Deep understanding of NMR theory, pulse sequences, spectral interpretation, and instrument operation
Strong leadership, mentoring, and team‑building capabilities
Ability to manage multiple high‑priority projects in a client‑driven environment
Excellent technical writing, documentation, and communication skills
Strong problem‑solving, critical thinking, and scientific decision‑making abilities
Ability to present complex scientific information to clients, auditors, and internal leadership
Mobility to work in a lab and office setting, use standard office and lab equipment and stamina to sit for extended periods of time; exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects; vision to read printed materials and computer screens; and hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone
